When it rains, stormwater rushes into the closest storm drain. Contaminants—including litter, chemicals, and other pollutants—then drain into local creeks and streams. These contaminants directly pollute the local water supply.

Storm Drain Marking volunteers place eye-catching decals on top of the storm drains to inform the public that dumping into these drains is not permitted.
