Why We Stopped Selling Bulbs

Over the last 40 years, Keep Smyrna Beautiful has sold more than a million jonquil bulbs to the community. These jonquils still bloom across the city today, creating the cheerful “Jonquil City” look Smyrna is known for. 2025 was out final year selling jonquil bulbs. KSB transitioned resources to other beautification projects, such as pollinator pockets and habitat rehabilitation, that provide even greater ecological benefits. We’re so grateful for the decades of community support that made this tradition possible and solidified Smyrna’s identity as a clean, green, and beautiful city.
