2024 Environmental Scholarship Recipients

This spring, Keep Smyrna Beautiful awarded two KSB Environmental Studies Scholarships to Campbell High School seniors. The $1,500 scholarships support students who are planning to pursue a degree in an environmentally related field.

Congratulations to the 2024 recipients, Emma Daxe and Hannah Hoeh:

Emma Daxe is a member of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce Youth Leadership Committee, Interact Club, and the Water Project. She also played varsity lacrosse team for four years. She is interested in learning about using sustainable and resource efficient designs to mitigate resource depletion and create more resilient cities. Emma will attend the University of Georgia to study urban planning and landscape architecture.

Hannah Hoeh was captain of the archery club and a member of both DECA and the hiking club at Campbell High School. She is also a volunteer at Our Giving Garden. She is particularly interested in helping ecosystems, fighting climate change, and creating a sustainable way to grow food through repairing soil. Hannah will be attending the University of Georgia to study environmental resource science.
